After you have configured BMAX, the originating dial pad screen is the blue colored(if you are on the default green dial-pad screen) that you can access with thumb-grip area and slide towards the left. From the blue(originating dial-pad screen), you can set the originating number – the number that you wish to ring first, so when the call is picked up, it will then be connected to the destination telephone number.
Once the originating number is set, you may not require to visit this blue screen very often, unless you need to alter the originating number. Now “slide” to the right with the thumb-grip area to shift to the default ‘green dial-pad” – where you will be able to dial or lookup the number you wish to make call to.
If you have used BMAX before, you will also have the option to select “last-numbers” from some history BMAX has kept. This feature simply accelerates inputs.
When ready to make the call, simply press the physical call button on your mobile handset, as you do when making normal calls.
You will see the call status and progress of the call. If for any reason that call failed, you can press on the physical ‘back button’ from your phone and try again.
Notes:
You may edit or correct the number entered by clicking on the left arrow by deleting the last digits entered.
You may submit a ‘+’ for the international dial-access prefix by keeping the ‘0’ pressed. The ‘+’ substitutes the international dial prefix without the need for you to know what the prefix is per country your are located. e.g to make an international call from the USA you need to dial ‘011’ to make such an international call. Other countries require ‘00’. Try to always use ‘+’ followed by the country dial code even when entering numbers in your phonebook.
Suggestions:
To save overall on call costs, analyze your call costs from http://iologue.com/bmax/providers-rates and choose most appropriate providers based on your location for originating calls and destination calls. To gauge the overall call costs, add the call cost of your originating country (X) plus the destination country (Y) + (0.05) usual one-time connection fee in most providers listed. e.g: X+Y+0.05=Total cost
Once you select a few providers of choice, sign up to create an account with them and add some credit, so you can configure and use within BMAX.
