Installing BMAX on Blackberry Bold or Storm devices

To install BMAX on Blackberry Bold or Storm devices follow these quick steps.

Once you download BMAX onto your device you will see a BMAXinstaller.

You simply need to run this Installer to install BMAX.

You can choose to install BMAX either on devices memory or on SDcard.

BMAXInstaller will also install another application(a service) called "CallRedirectService" that is used when you wish to have BMAX ask how you wish to handle this call. Either call via BMAX or dial traditionally. This call interception feature is configured from within BMAX > Preferences > Integration with options to:
| Disable | Handle by BMAX | Ask user |
Note: CallRedirectService is not executable, it's only a service and can be moved to any location you like.

To allow BMAX to handle call interception as mentioned above, you will require to edit two application(BMAX & CallRedirectService) permissions on your device. If you keep 'Integration' setting from within BMAX as "Disabled" you do not need to follow these steps below.

Go to 'Options' > 'Advanced Options' > 'Applications' > 'BMAX' > 'Edit Permissions'
In 'Connections' expand selection and set 'Phone' permissions to "Allow".
Do the same in 'Interactions", expand selection and set 'Input Simulation' permissions to "Allow"

Now do the same for "CallRedirectService"
Go to 'Options' > 'Advanced Options' > 'Applications' > 'CallRedirectService' > 'Edit Permissions'
In 'Connections' expand selection and set 'Phone' permissions to "Allow".
Do the same in 'Interactions", expand selection and set 'Input Simulation' permissions to "Allow"

Hope this helps.
